Professor Irfan Dwidya Prijambada (Gasha Mada University, Indonesia), an alumnus of the department, was awarded the “Osaka University Global Alumni Fellow”. Congratulations!

On Monday, September 25, 2023, the Fall 2023 English Course Master’s Degree Conferral Ceremony was held at Suntory Memorial Hall.

Degrees were conferred to 12 students who have completed the Master’s degree program in the English course.
Following the ceremonial address by Prof. Muranaka, the dean of the department, the students expressed their impressions of and appreciation for the two years they had spent in the program and
professores congratulated the students on the completion of their studies and expressed his/her expectations for their future activities.
The ceremony ended with a commemorative photo taken with all the participants.

Ms. Fathiah Rizky Kosasih won the best presentation award in the midterm examination of the Master’s course.

Dr. Pijar Religia, a graduate of the Watanabe Lab, has her PhD research results published in the journal “Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry” and it was selected as one of the Top 10 Exceptional Papers of 2021 and also as the 2022 best student paper.
