Admissions Information
General information
1. Type of Program
- Students supported by the MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology, Japan) Scholarship.
- Privately financed students, including those supported by a scholarship from a private company, foundation, and the government of their mother country. Recipients/applicants of the MEXT Scholarship through the Japanese Embassy and Consulate are also admitted as privately financed students.

2. Information on the entrance examination for privately financed students
Candidate for the examination needs select three problems from five problems related to the following categories and answer to them.
Basic Biological Chemistry
Biochemical Engineering
Biological Chemistry
Microbiology
Molecular Cell Biology
The five problems are prepared with referring the book “Voet, Fundamentals of Biochemistry: Life at the Molecular Level”.
3. Before the application
All applicants shall contact a professor by e-mail and take and academic instruction.
